Chavanté Palm, was born in 2001 in The Hague and his roots are in Curaçao and Suriname. Under the guidance of Umit-C, Mekki and Serrow, he started rapping at Musicon in The Hague, and grew very quickly. Chavanté was noticed by FunX, where he did an interview. He was also on stage at, among others, Parkpop, the Koninklijke Schouwburg and other theaters and festivals. In 2017, Chavanté took part in The Voice Kids. After a successful Blind Audition, where he sang a home-made version of his hero Gers Pardoel’s “Ik Neem Je Mee”, he made it to the final rounds. After this, his debut single “Stupido” appeared, which has been streamed more than a million times.
